We’ve had so many new faces in the studio lately, and I am so happy to have you all 💕😍🙏🏻
I’m Sam, FHY owner — and this is a little about me:
I fell in love with FHY way back in 2016 after one of the worst times in my life. It was the first place I felt at home in Dubois County after being gone for almost 13 years.
I found yoga about two decades ago and have been teaching since 2017.
I’m an Experiences Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT) and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) with Yoga Alliance. I’m also certified in BarreAbove. Yoga changed my life for the better, and I love being able to share it with our community (near and far). I am dedicated to the practice, study, and teaching of yoga in all its forms.
I’m mama to Kate (13) and Isla (😎. I love animals so much — especially my 3 rescue dogs (pictured: Rosie from @adoptatdchs), our 6 cats, ducks, and horses (14 currently on our @fairview.stables farm!). I had so much fun competing in horse shows with my kids this summer and fall 🐎
I love cooking and bourbon and movies (‘Elizabethtown’ is my favorite!) and hiking.
In my professional life, I’m the Marketing Manager for a local software developer (@homebuildersolution). I believe in smalls businesses, and I’m passionate about helping them grow.
Now tell me (so I can take notes for my winter movie list!): What’s your favorite movie? 🎥 👀
